DIY Standing rigging...

Got all my bits & pieces ordered...Sta-Lok swageless fittings throughout.  I'll be doing one-string-at-a-time over the month of July with the mast in place.  Should be lots of cussing and dangling around in the sky!  I'll post up all the part numbers, sizes, lengths, and prices after I get done.  I'm sure there will be issues...I'll keep track of them and pass them on to other Catalina owners.

Take TONS of pics please!
You wouldn’t believe what I was quoted to replace my rigging…

And when I asked if it was possible to replace one shroud at a time,
instead of having the mast pulled, the guy stopped communicating with me!

Playing devil's advocate here, but have you checked with your insurer that it doesn't have to be done or at least certified by a professional rigger? Wouldn't be nice to save the money and have the satisfaction of doing it yourself only to find it isn't insured...
Insurance companies here in Australia are pretty rigid....
