Rust on fridge door
I’ve got rust on the metal door surround on the lower fridge door on my MK 1. I plan to remove the door and metal surround, deal with the rust (if it isn’t too bad), repaint and reinstall. Anyone else

Mystery ground bar
I was cleaning this area of the bilge today and found the green copper bar when I moved the white vent hose out of the way. Looks like a ground bar. The blue wire attached to it runs aft on the starbo

AIS antenna vs splitter
Lee and Tom, thanks for the feedback. It sounds like the Vesper XP 8000 and a single antenna is the way to go. Did either of you already have a radio with an AIS receiver when you installed the Vesper

AIS antenna vs splitter
I’m adding AIS to my electronics inventory and trying to decide whether to go with one VHF antenna shared with the VHF via a “no loss” splitter, or a separate antenna for the AIS mounted on the arch w

Refrigerator foot pump
I use my foot pump, though usually with my fingers rather than my foot, and it quickly removes about 99% of the water in the bottom of the fridge. A quick swipe with a sponge gets the rest. Fritz Feit

I’m replacing the standing rigging on my 1997 C400 and taking care of some other things while the mast is out of the boat (VHF/AIS antenna, new wind speed/direction, new LED anchor light, etc.). Also
