I would like to add to Ron's last comment below. I think the C400 is agreat boat! I does handle rough weather well and is very easy to sail (at leastthe MKII's with roller furling main and all

We own C400 hull #53, a 1996 model. We sail on Lake Michigan. I have never heard of wide spread rudder problems on the 400. We did have a C400 at our marina (a year 2000 model) which lost

An apology. I wasn't intending to knock the Yanmar,just defend the Westerbeke. There was absolutely nothing wrong with that engine- many other manufacturers used it successfully on similar

In theory, the steering will become lighter (and sloppy) if the cable tension is too loose. It feels more like a 56 Buick with overboosted power steering and worn tie rods. I once

they used for the different series of hull numbers and can probably point
